7 - 10 October 2010 - NORMANDY

This will be an opportunity for Members to look beyond D Day at the Battle for Normandy itself. It is intended to look at the British/Canadian sectors in some detail with a particular emphasis on the attempts to encircle Caen and destroy the German Army in what became known as the Falaise Pocket.
